StartingBlock Computing was a small company
located in Lees Summit, Mo. offering a number of
services, focusing on electronic communication and Web
Presence. StartingBlock Computing is no longer doing business, but being the
owner, wanting to give back to the community, I maintain this domain and website
for sharing information about Domino.
ALL OPINIONS BELONG TO ME, AND DO NOT IN ANY WAY REFLECT THE OPINIONS OF ANY ONE
ELSE INCLUDING EMPLOYERS, MANAGERS, OR THOSE CONTRACTING WITH ME.
Web Presence is a total integrated package, combining websites that work for
you, email that blends personal and role based messages, and other technologies
that weave bits of data into useful information. Web Presence manages the work,
so that your business doesn't loose the knowledge, when personnel moves to other
pursuits. As a small business owner, you sleep better, knowing your information
is truly your information.
The owner of StartingBlock Computing has
worked in the
Kansas City Area, leading Domino installations, as well as other networking and
network applications. He has participated in the creation of several electronic
policies, influenced strategic directions, and negotiated pricing for equipment
and licensing. He currently resides and works in the Dallas area, not accepting
and additional work at this time
StartingBlock Computing wrote
RBL II, a utility
for converting raw messages reported as abuse into usable RBL formatted zone
files. The program is no longer distributed through this channel, but may
possibly be found in a number of internet locations. Startingblock Computing,
and the author no longer support this product, and take no responsibility for
any code distributed under this name. Several other small utilities can be
found on the
Products page.
Just recently, the owner of StartingBlock Computing began an OpenSource project
for a
Blackberry Log Analyzer. This product
condenses Blackberry log entries in Domino, into useful reports for
administrators.
This website focuses on presenting good practices, and knowledge for Web related
technologies. The
Weblog contains a number of technical
articles, as well as the
Knowledge Base having more in
depth information.
I hope you will find great information here. Use the links from the Weblog, and
you'll see the Domino community.
